Pottery Painting

Join us each month for pottery painting at Speckled Dog Studio.

Pottery painting sessions are relaxed and sociable, making them perfect for a creative weekend activity with children, friends or extended family.

Our studio at Smithbrook Kilns provides a welcoming space where you can slow down, get creative and spend time making something together. There is no experience needed and no pressure to get things perfect. You simply choose a piece of pottery, pick your colours, and start creating.

Each month we offer a selection of ready-made pottery to decorate. Alongside a range of everyday pieces such as mugs, plates and bowls, we will also have themed seasonal items to paint throughout the year.

Once you have finished painting, we take care of the rest. Your pottery will be glazed and fired in the kiln, ready for collection a little later. The result is a finished ceramic piece that is both practical and a lasting reminder of the time you spent making it.

Spaces are limited for each session, so booking in advance is recommended. Pottery painting is charged at a studio fee of £5 per person plus the cost of whatever items you wish to paint.
