Clay Club

Monthly pottery classes for children ages 7+

Clay Club at Speckled Dog Studio gives young makers the chance to explore clay in a friendly and supportive environment while building real creative skills over time.

Each two-hour session introduces age appropriate pottery projects that gradually develop confidence with the material.

Children will learn simple hand building techniques such as pinching, rolling, shaping and joining clay. Along the way they will experiment with textures, patterns and decorative ideas that allow them to personalise their pieces. These will then be fired in the kiln ready for decorating at one of our pottery painting sessions (£5 studio fee included).

Pottery is a wonderful way to encourage patience, creativity and problem solving. It also gives children the lasting satisfaction of making something with their own hands.

Each session costs £35 and includes one free pottery painting session.
