Weekly creative sessions suitable for ages 5 to 11

Children are naturally imaginative. Give them the right materials, a bit of guidance, and the freedom to experiment, and creativity quickly takes over.

Make & Create classes at Speckled Dog Studio are designed to nurture that curiosity.

These engaging one-hour weekly sessions introduce primary-aged children to a wide range of creative materials, techniques and ideas. One week might focus on painting or mixed media, another on craft, collage, printing or simple sculpture.

The aim at Make & Create is developing the confidence that comes from trying something new, experimenting, and seeing where imagination leads.

Our studio at Smithbrook Kilns in Cranleigh provides a friendly and welcoming environment where children can slow down, focus on making, and enjoy the process of creating something with their own hands.

Over time, children begin to build creative skills, learn to work with different materials, and take pride in what they make.

Just as importantly, they discover that creativity can be playful, expressive and fun.

Classes cost from £12 per session and are booked a term at a time.

If your child would like to give Make & Create a try, we offer spare places (subject to availability).
